About Zimbabwean Dollar
Site of the second worst hyperinflation in history. At its peak in November 2008, inflation reached 79.6 billion percent month over month. The Reserve Bank printed 100 trillion dollar notes. The currency was abandoned in 2009 in favor of a multi currency system dominated by the US dollar. Zimbabwe redenominated three times, each new dollar worth billions or trillions of the old. A cautionary tale of monetary mismanagement.
