About Yugoslav Dinar
The currency of Yugoslavia from 1918 to 2003. Yugoslavia experienced severe hyperinflation in 1993 to 1994 during the Yugoslav Wars. Inflation reached 313 million percent per month. The 500 billion dinar note was printed. The dinar was redenominated five times, each time removing zeros. Each new dinar represented another stage of economic collapse. The currency died with Yugoslavia itself in 2003.
