About Vietnamese Cash
Vietnamese cash coins with Chinese style inscriptions but Vietnamese dynastic names. Minted by the Ly, Tran, Le, and Nguyen dynasties. The coins were cast in sand molds. Vietnamese cash coins are found throughout Southeast Asia. The last Vietnamese cash coins were minted in the 1940s under Bao Dai. The large Canh Thinh Thong Bao coins are particularly collectible.
