San Marino Euro
About San Marino Euro
Euro coins of San Marino, a tiny republic surrounded by Italy. San Marino has a monetary agreement with the EU allowing it to issue euros. The coins feature the three towers of San Marino, the coat of arms, and Saint Marinus. Mintages are low, typically 50,000 to 130,000 per denomination. San Marino euros are scarce in circulation as most are sold to collectors at premiums. The 2004 San Marino 2 euro commemorative has a mintage of only 110,000.
