Saloon Token

About Saloon Token

Tokens issued by saloons to attract customers. A free drink token was a common promotion. Saloon tokens are particularly associated with the American West. The tokens feature saloon names, sometimes with creative artwork including dancing girls, beer mugs, and card hands. Saloon tokens from famous frontier towns like Deadwood, Tombstone, and Dodge City are highly prized by Western Americana collectors.
