About US Presidential Dollar
A series honoring deceased US presidents, issued four per year from 2007 to 2016 and one final in 2020. Featured the president on the obverse and the Statue of Liberty on the reverse. The edge is inscribed with the year, mint mark, E Pluribus Unum, and In God We Trust. The series boosted interest in dollar coins but did not increase circulation. The Chester Arthur dollar has the lowest mintage.
