The platinum bullion coin of Canada. Available in 1 oz through 1/20 oz sizes. The platinum maple was popular in the late 1980s when platinum was relatively affordable. Production was suspended from 2003 to 2009 due to high platinum prices. Resumed in 2009. The maple leaf design matches the gold and silver versions. The platinum maple is less common than the gold and silver versions.
