About Vietnamese Nguyen Dynasty Coin
Coins of the Nguyen Dynasty, the last Vietnamese imperial dynasty. Featured the reign title of the emperor. The coins were cast in sand molds using traditional techniques. The last Nguyen emperor Bao Dai issued coins until 1945. Nguyen coins show Chinese cultural influence in their design and inscription style. The coins are found throughout Vietnam and neighboring countries.
