About US First Spouse Gold Coins
A series of half ounce gold coins honoring the First Ladies of the United States. Issued alongside the Presidential Dollar series. Each coin features a First Lady on the obverse. The series includes Martha Washington through Eleanor Roosevelt and beyond. For presidents without a spouse, Liberty was depicted instead. Low mintages make many First Spouse coins valuable. The series ended in 2020 with the Trump administration.
