About Czech Koruna Detail
The Czech koruna replaced the Czechoslovak koruna after the dissolution of Czechoslovakia. The Czech Republic has not adopted the euro and has no current target date. Czech banknotes feature Charles IV, Comenius, and other historical figures. The CNB uses direct intervention rather than interest rates to manage the currency. The Czech koruna is one of the strongest Central European currencies.
