About Central African CFA
The Central African CFA franc is used by Cameroon, Central African Republic, Chad, Congo, Equatorial Guinea, and Gabon. Issued by the Bank of Central African States (BEAC) in Yaounde. The Central African CFA has the same value as the West African CFA but is not the same currency. Central African CFA banknotes feature African landscapes, wildlife, and industry. The BEAC headquarters moved from Paris to Yaounde in 1993.
