About Canadian Silver Dollar
Minted from 1935 to 1967. The 1935 dollar commemorated the 25th anniversary of King George V reign. Featured a voyageur and an aboriginal man in a canoe on the reverse. Containing 23.3 grams of 80 percent silver. The 1948 Canadian dollar is the key date due to low mintage. Discontinued when the Loonie was introduced in 1987. Canadian silver dollars are popular with bullion investors and collectors.
