About US Bust Quarter
The Draped Bust quarter featured Liberty on the obverse and a small eagle on the reverse. The 1796 quarter had a mintage of only 6,146 and is worth over 100,000 dollars in any condition. The 1804 quarter is another legendary rarity. The Capped Bust quarter of 1815 was larger and more practical. Early quarters were not widely used as the Spanish two reales filled that role.
