A commemorative half dollar marking the 200th anniversary of Daniel Boones birth. Featured Boone and an Anglo American man shaking hands with a Native American chief. Minted from 1934 to 1938 with multiple varieties. The 1934 small 2-D variety is the rarest. Over 100,000 Boone halves were minted across all varieties. The coin was sold to raise funds for the Boone Bicentennial Commission.
