About Bahraini Dinar
The second highest valued currency unit after the Kuwaiti dinar. Pegged to the US dollar at 0.376 dinars to 1 dollar. Introduced when Bahrain abandoned the Gulf rupee. Bahraini banknotes feature traditional architecture, the Bahrain International Circuit, and the king. The Bahrain Monetary Agency was established in 1973 and became the Central Bank of Bahrain in 2006. The dinar is fully convertible and one of the most stable currencies globally.
