About US Barber Half Dollar
The largest of the Barber coinage series. Featured Liberty on the obverse and an eagle on the reverse. The Barber half was minted from 1892 to 1915. The 1914 Barber half dollar had very low mintages at all mints. High grade Barber halves are scarce because they saw heavy use. The series is considered challenging for collectors seeking complete sets in high grade.
