A commemorative half dollar marking the centennial of Arkansas statehood. Featured Liberty and an eagle on the obverse with a Native American chief and angel on the reverse. Minted from 1935 to 1939 with multiple varieties including the 1936 and 1937 with different reverses. Over 85,000 Arkansas halves were minted across all dates. The 1937 three legged buffalo variety is the rarest. Arkansas halves are collected as part of the classic commemorative series.
